Efficient Nanosystem for Nanomedicine Applications Based on Molecular Communications

Abstract The authors propose an efficient nanosystem based on molecular communication technology. Molecular via diffusion (MCvD) is a promising trend for exchanging biochemical signals between nanotransmitter (NT) and nanoreceiver (NR) in aqueous media over short distances. Nanosystem-based MCvD has recently received lot of attention advanced targeted nanomedicine applications such as drug delivery healthcare monitoring (disease/diagnosis/analysis). However, the random nature causes counting noise, which significantly degrades performance nanosystem-based communication. In this paper, reliable simple denoising technique, namely Savitzky–Golay (SG) filter, developed to provide high accuracy information reception. proposed evaluated terms bit error rate (BER) correlation efficiency. results reveal that using SG filter outperforms current techniques moving average wavelet I-filter. Actually, it was found increases gain efficiency coefficient by more than 60% comparison I-filter at low signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs), whereas denoising, achieves 10% enhancement SNRs.
